Bosnia and Herzegovina hosts biggest April 23 event
The biggest event to mark the April 23 outside Turkey is being held in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Around six thousand children are attending the celebrations in Zenitsa city. Streets were decorated with Turkish and Bosnian flags.
The events have been organized by Yunus Emre Culture Centre under the auspices of Turkey's Embassy in Sarajevo.
The festivities will begin at 14.00 hours and children studying at Bosnian schools will display a variety of performances.
Messages of Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team players and Atletico Madrid's Turkish star Arda Turan will be read out.
